Ecclesiastical Status

Relationship with the Sovereign Order of Malta
The Brotherhood of Blessed Gérard is the relief organisation of the Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, of Rhodes and of Malta in South Africa. It was approved and registered by the Sovereign Council on 20 April 1993 under Registration No. 1/AF.
